Late Night Breakthrough

Late Night Breakthrough was a weekly Psychology talk radio program on the now non-existent FM Talk Radio Station - 97.1 KLSX.  The show was hosted by Dr. David Shapiro, a very funny and engaging Psychologist in Orange County who also does stand-up comedy.  The show had a number of frequent contributors, including Dr. Tim Worden, then Clinical Director of New Seasons Treatment Center, and formerly of Passages in Malibu.  Another great addition to the on air team was Joanna Burks, a Certified Trainer and Muay Thai Instructor.  Guests included Sex Therapists, Medical Directors of Treatment Centers, as well as a Owner of a Head Shop, among others.

Resources to Calm

Dr. Shapiro's practice emphasizes empowering people to better manage their emotions and to take control of their lives.  In all of the shows, Dr. shapiro engaged with callers to challenge them to consider how they could settle down their emotions to allow for a more serene process of growth and change.

Mindfulness

The deepest message of the show was allowing for mindfulness in one's life.  We discussed meditation, relaxation training, clinical hypnosis, exercise, and the process of quietly reflecting on the life one would like.

Still a Resource for You

Although the show is no longer on the air, Dr. Shapiro still is offering the same level of skill and compassion in his work with his clients.  He is conveniently located in Orange County, with many clients finding it is worth the short drive to see him to come up from San Diego and down from all over LA County.  They do this because what Dr. Shapiro offers is very unique and effective in addressing a broad range of issues and concerns.  What makes him sought after is the combination of his stellar credentials, along with very sophisticated therapeutic skills in traditional psychotherapy, as well as clinicial hypnosis, relaxation training, biofeedback, and strategic psychotherapy.  He gets results very fast, and has now gotten a reputation for helping clients that other therapists were not able to help.  Believe that he is the Psychologist to seek, and can be reached at (949) 582-3002 or by clicking the "Get Help" button.
